Mark Nagy - Managing Director

Mark has accumulated over 25 years’ experience in the home improvement and service-based industries since commencing his career. He has held a number of senior roles in operations, marketing, advertising and merchandising, eventually moving into general management and finally heading up Sunst8 Group and the RackSAFE teams. Mark is a licenced engineer and is widely educated holding a masters of entrepreneurship from the University of Melbourne. In addition, he studied entrepreneurship at Stanford University. Mark regularly travels overseas to research storage and racking systems, providing him with extensive insight and understanding of product development and emerging trends.

Jacki Niko - Group General Manager

Jacki is a results-driven Business Manager with 20-plus years’ experience in retail operations – including 10-plus years in senior management positions across sales, store management, HR, training, and business transformation operations. She possesses strong strategic management capabilities with highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to develop and drive innovative solutions. Highly organised with a keen attention to detail, her expertise includes the ability to manage multiple competing priorities to ensure that deadlines are met. Jacki’s leadership skills are evident in her capacity to develop and motivate the Sunst8 team.

Ana Niko - Key Accounts Manager

Recently promoted from Key Accounts to Operations Manager, Ana coordinates tasks and personnel with precision, prioritising customer satisfaction above all else. With extensive experience in customer service, administration, and leadership, Ana serves as the vital link between sales, operations, and customers. Her meticulous attention to detail, coupled with her exceptional time management skills and problem-solving abilities make her the ideal individual to navigate the complexities of our industry. Ana’s promotion to this role speaks volumes about her dedication and expertise, proving that she is more than capable of leading our operations to new heights. Respected among her peers, Ana ensures our team consistently exceeds customer expectations, solidifying Sunst8 Group’s reputation for excellence.

Luke La - Relationship Manager

Luke brings 25 years of retail and business expertise to Sunst8, blending diverse industry experience with a proven track record. Initially excelling in account management across QLD and NSW, he later established and successfully managed his own newsagency chain for 14 years, earning multiple industry awards. Throughout his career, Luke has fostered relationships with stakeholders across the retail landscape, from staff and customers to industry peers and government bodies. This comprehensive exposure has honed Luke’s ability to grasp businesses’ needs and obligations while identifying growth opportunities. His journey from Vietnam to Australia in 1985 is a testament to his family’s determination for a better life, a legacy Luke continues to honor.

Thanh Ngo - Sales Consultant

Thanh is our newest Sales Consultant, whose expertise and enthusiasm stem from his rich cross-cultural experiences. With a quintessentially Australian spirit infused with a touch of larrikin charm, Thanh embodies integrity and dedication. He firmly believes in the ethos that a handshake seals a promise, emphasising honesty as the cornerstone of successful relationships. With a background in banking and a passion for real estate ignited in childhood, Thanh brings a unique blend of commitment and ethical principles to his work. For him, success transcends monetary gains, rooted instead in family values, loyalty, and genuine service to clients and colleagues alike.

Shannon McCarthy - Key Accounts Consultant

Prior to his current role, Shannon spent 5 years as part of our field crew. After a year-long hiatus, he’s back and eager to excel in his new role within the office. His hallmark is his exceptional people skills, efficiency, and adeptness at galvanising teams both on and off the clock. Shannon is a passionate sports enthusiast, playing for the Alex Hills Bombers, a local AFL team proudly sponsored by Sunst8. Committed to personal and professional growth, his transition to the office provides fresh insights, with his field experience enhancing his ability to connect with the team. With a knack for problem-solving, attentive listening, and a love for tattoos, Shannon embodies adaptability and dedication.

Kylie Nilsson - Financial Controller

Kylie brings to the business over 15 years experience in finance, accounting and general office administration. Kylie has a Bachelor of Business majoring in accounting and HR and in August 2023, she successfully completed the CPA Program and advanced to CPA status. Her qualifications and expertise result in her ability to provide Sunst8 Group with exceptional end-to-end finance solutions. A strategic planner, Kylie has taken Sunst8 from a small business operation to a substantial business by forecasting, budgeting and planning targets for our team. Employing her analytical skills to crunch the numbers and deliver accurate reporting in relation to cash flow and cost control, gives us comfort that Sunst8 will continue to go from strength to strength.

Rebecca Mitchell - Accounts Assistant

Meet Bec, our diligent Accounts Assistant bringing a fresh perspective to the racking industry since August 2023. Assisting with accounts and payroll and managing the complex repairs process for one of our esteemed clients, Bec seamlessly blends her 12+ years of administrative experience with her skills as a qualified hairdresser – a talent occasionally utilised by her colleagues in need of a trim! Renowned for her efficiency and teamwork, Bec thrives on chasing debtors to ensure bills are settled promptly. Outside the office, she cherishes moments with her partner and dogs.

Doug Wilson - Senior Technical Advisor

With Over 25 years’ experience in both the retail and construction industries, Doug has a passion for providing the highest level of customer satisfaction to our clients. He is a dedicated team player who leads by example, while his broad background in the safety and the training is key to the successful development of our team. Doug’s technical knowledge and skill comes to the fore in job scoping, interpreting plans and drawings, and problem solving – making him a key part in the success of our operational business.

Mark Albert - Team Leader

A qualified Carpenter with over 14 years’ experience in T1 & T2 construction, Mark brings a highly valuable depth of knowledge to Sunst8 Group. As a previous business owner himself, Mark is strongly focused on delivering work of the highest standard to our clients to ensure that we not only meet their expectations but exceed them! He is a strong team player who understands the importance of meeting deadlines and his ability to work within a budget makes Mark a real asset to our Sunst8 Team.
